Entry Fee:
RDS Members: €310 each entry; Non Members: €362 each entry.

Competition format:
Competition 104 A - Wednesday 7 August; Competition 104 B - Friday 9 August
Competition 104 C - 4 Year Old "Mo Chroi" National Championship - Saturday 10 August

Qualification:

Qualification for the 4 year old class will be based on a league system.  4 year old horses may compete in a maximum of three qualifiers.  The best two scores for horse and rider combinations from the qualifier league will count towards qualification.  Points will be awarded at each of the qualifiers as follows – 1st 200 points, 2nd 199 points, 3rd 198 points, 4th 197 points, etc.  No points will be awarded to horse and rider combinations that are eliminated or retire.  36 four year olds will qualify for the Dublin Horse Show.  In the case of a tie for 36th place the deciding factor will be as follws; highest Rideability mark (over the two qualifiers), if still equal the highest Future Potential & Natural Ability mark, and if still equal, the highest jumping score will determine qualification.

Rules:

Special SJI Rules Apply - judged over one round. Speed 350 mpm. The top six horses based on points following Competitions 104 A and 104 B may be ridden by international Riders to decide the Championship.  Any disobedience will incur elimination.  Only hind boots as per RDS rules may be worn at the Qualifiers and the Final.

Restricted to horses registered as being bred on the Island of Ireland and those entire animals (stallions and mares) bred outside Ireland that are registered and approved/preliminary approved, or select for breeding in an Irish Studbook (Approved by the Dept of Agriculture).
