Performance Classes
The RDS focus on performance has been clearly evident in the development of the Horse Show over the past seven years with the addition of a number of new performance competitions to the annual programme of events.
It is the belief of the RDS that all horses, breeds and studbooks must have a purpose and function if they are to survive and prosper. The RDS performance classes have been primarily developed to showcase the capabilities of Irish bred horse and pony and secondly to develop the equitation standards of the Irish rider.
