To be ridden side-saddle by riders who have attained their 14th birthday by 1 January 2017.
To promote and preserve the art of side-saddle riding.
RDS Members: €220 each entry; Non-Members: €253 each entry.
The rider's ability and turnout, and the way of going, manners, conformation and movement of the horse will be considered as part of the adjudication.
Horse and rider combinations who are entered in the Intermediate Side-Saddle, Class 28 are not eligible to compete in the Ladies Side-Saddle, Class 27.
Horses / ponies entered in Class 28 may also be entered in other classes provided they are eligible.
Exhibits in the Intermediate Side-Saddle must have a current and valid height measurement under the Show Jumping Ireland / Irish Pony Society measurement scheme and their passports must be available on arrival for inspection.
The top three pony/horse and rider combinations at each of the qualifiers will be eligible to enter the Dublin Horse Show.
